I have had a long and positive
working relationship with Anu most of which was
when she was with us at e4e. I believe senior
executive search comes very naturally to Anu -
she is a born network builder with a good sense
for people. This sensitivity helps her understand
the needs of people, connect with them instantly
and find right fits for them in their careers.
Anu knows our business very
well - the business of offshore services. Her
complete familiarity with and ease of navigating
the "India-US corridor" is truly valuable
to us. Although she has had some experience in
the US market, her experience of the Indian market
is recent enough that she is still in tune with
both geographies and she remains current with
both ends with the GET business model.
Anu has a deep understanding
of the business environments of both India and
the US, and most importantly, she knows what it
takes for executives to move from the US to India
- a profile we always look for in our senior management
positions in India.
I go to Anu for our senior
executive needs for e4e and group companies. Our
alternatives earlier were to tap into our own
network, which many a times is quite limited for
many of the positions we are looking for, and
pure US based executive search firms and other
big players just do not work, since their understanding
of the Indian market is quite inadequate.
Currently at e4e, our unique
challenges, unlike most other India-based services
companies, are two-fold.
One, we have a substantial
percentage of our team outside of India and the
US. Therefore, we need a truly "global"
head of delivery not just an "India"
head. This person would need to be comfortable
running a delivery organization spread literally
across the world, panning not just two but several
cultures, languages, working styles and time zones.
Second, our services pan technology
as well as business processes - clearly, there
aren't too many senior executives in the market
who understand both the technology services industry
as well as the comparatively nascent business
process services industry.
Anu is helping us with
